When using the robot as a CNC machine, we have the possibilities of using the 3D environment as an element that supports machining programming. We gain more flexibility thanks to the availability of 6 axes. Quick tool change systems and tool magazines align the disproportion between the robot arm and the classic CNC machine. The CNC control system allows to edit even extensive programs, consisting of many lines on the robot's programmer screen. Thanks to appropriate interfaces in the robot, we can program it by means of G code or DIN 66025. A dedicated interface offers typical CNC control elements so that machine operators, who have worked with standard CNC machining centers so far, can easily and quickly take over the operation of the robot.
